From the almshouse there are beautiful marked hikes to peaks, huts, lakes and mountain pastures in the immediate vicinity. 
Mountain biking, rock climbing, surfing, sailing, rollerblading, tennis or swimming in one of the crystal clear lakes of Carinthia is possible at a short distance from the house.

Carinthia has many hours of sunshine. Due to the high altitude of the house, the summer is actually never too hot.
