Beautifully secluded private Almhaus with lots of peace and privacy. This penultimate habitable house in the valley is quietly and beautifully located on a (well maintained) dirt mountain road.
The house has been timbered inside and out with larch wood, and modernized to current standards. The character of the house has remained intact, despite a new kitchen, 2 tiled bathrooms and an authentic "kachelofen" in the middle of the large living room. In the exterior white-plastered part of the house there is an enclosed family apartment that is never used during the rental.
Hiking trails naturally start at the front door. An absolutely perfect house for total relaxation.

On the first floor is a hall for shoes and coats. A spacious living room with open kitchen, two sofas around the classic Austrian stove oven and plenty of tables and chairs.
Also on this floor is a bathroom with double sink, toilet and separate shower room.

Outside on the alm is a fire pit where campfires can be made to your heart's content.

A bag of wood for this stove is provided, but for an outdoor campfire you must gather your own wood in the woods!
There is no refrigerator available! Groceries can be kept cool in the basement of the house.
The last 4km of the access road to the house is unpaved.
The house is self-sufficient. That is, it uses solar panels with batteries, a septic tank, gas cylinders and a water source.
Since the house is in the middle of nature and has its own well with reservoir, in times of drought it is important to use water sparingly.
Electricity should also be used sparingly especially during periods of low sunshine. This is also the reason that there is no refrigerator, washing machine and electric coffee maker in the house.
